Hello and welcome to our blog! I am Simon Fotakis, a senior technology leader with 23 years of experience in the sector and founder of Interviewpals. I have been hiring talent for 12 years. The majority of my hires were amazing professionals who I keep in contact with even after many years. Some of my hires didn't live up to expectations. That's ok. Both myself and them learned a lot from the experience.
I have also been interviewed many times myself. I have had to undergo gruelling interview preparation, followed by the tension, stress and nerves of the actual job interview(s). On many occasions, I had the privilege of feeling that uncomparable euphoria of landing the job. And at other times, I felt the sadness, anxiety and pride and dream crushing feeling of not getting that job. Either way, I learned a lot from the experiences and I am ready to relay them all to you!
